Redirecting To External Site warning

Lately when I have clicked on a link in a post I get sent to a page with this message:
Quote:
Redirecting To External Site

Redirecting To (url of external page shown)
Warning! The intended destination is not part of PaperModelers.com.

If you do not recognise (url of external page shown) or do not trust the person who gave you this link, close this tab or click the Back button in your browser.
With a button stating: I understand the risk. Proceed anyway.

Has anyone else been getting that?

And the site started logging me out between pages yesterday. Still doing it today. On Firefox, if that makes a difference

I haven't experienced this myself, I will have to check when I get home.

Not sure if this is a security feature in Chrome, or the Forum OS

I'm seeing it too Rick, on Chrome. I honestly thought it was a new forum feature and thought it a good thing.

Scot,

Your screenshot does show that it is a new forum feature, maybe a patch or some other update was applied recently.

Minor annoyance, I have seen it happen on other websites for years, I am good with that extra click to get where I am going

The weird thing is that it only comes up for some external sites, not others.

---------------------------------

Actually do not see the point of the external link messages at all! Only useful as a reminder if you are working in a high-security site - such as a Banking Site.
