making corrugated tin
I was searching how to make tank treads efficiently and was lead to an plastic modeling site. Anyway, I found this cool way to make corrugated tin from one of the members in that forum. AeroScale :: Scratch scale corrugated tin tool. Perhaps, we could learn some from plastic modelers.

if you have a need for corrugated tin panels then this is a great little tool for manufacturing them!
it will also work to "corrugate" card stock and papers. a glue wash would probably help the paper retain the corrugation better. not sure what else you would use corrugated panels for, they have a pretty specific application in real life and a limited usage in modeling I would think. Sheds, Roofs for Sheds, unused Panels leaning up against Sheds ...and Quonsat Huts.

and yes it's modeling so we can learn from plastic modelers. hummm.... seems you never have tried to build an aircraft from Heinkel or Junkers like for example the JU52

Dave,
Whatever you said must be correct. "aerodynamicagated" which does not compute with my spell checker...Ron |
