JSC New YouTube tutorial and a discount code

A new video has gone live on the JSC YouTube channel, on how to build and paint small parts.
we had an idea in order to let you practise building small parts, we created for you a discount code for paper models available in our shop.
Watch the video, see how we handle small elements and hopefully you will learn something new.
You will see the discount code in the video on the screen. Code valid from now until midnight on October 3, Polish time.
How to get a discount? Enter the code you see in the video, at the checkout when completing the order and press button "Add"next to the code.

With scissors this job is more difficult than with a steel ruler and model knife. IMHO.
And other thing. Since "Maly" times it was recommended to split thick paper of the magazine to get smaller thickness of a details. This method give more easy assembling and better shape for small details.

I agree Dane!

But on the question of tools, I do know some people prefer scissors!

Me, I am also a steel ruler and model knife person for the bulk of my cutting, though I also use scissors for rough work and repetitive small items (as it is faster).

One thing I cannot use is glue in a syringe! But I have a friend who uses a syringe like a master!

I used to Herky, and then changed to the knife and steel rule for some reason.

How many pairs do you use? Not have, but use in a modelling session?

I use two - a small pair (actually Tamiya decal scissors - used them for years) and a pair of decent quality "stationary" shop scissors.

I always enjoy your tutorials, Kasia. As you say, there are various ways to achieve the effects.

I, too, make little boxes to hold small parts when I am building.

Hello Don,

I'm happy to hear that you like my videos. They are not the best, I'm still learning, and I'm one-man-band editing them!
I like your boxes, much more presentable than ours, look professional.
And the model you are building at the background of the photo looks stunning!!!

best wishes from Poland,
Kasia
