There are some tips and trick listed on the Forum for that. Good stuff there, but if this were a book I would for sure buy it.

What would be some things that people would really want to see in it?

For me a long list of tools would be very beneficial. Brands, perhaps leave to the shopper, but the tools and uses in general would be amazing. I don't know what tools I need if I don't know what tools I need.

Another thing would be glues and their various applications.

Also, if so desired, I have a lot of experience in scratch building that may be worth adding a section about. I'd be willing to share some info about that.

These may have been requested already, in which case apologies, but I would like to see both for my personal knowledge and other builders:

- How to use paints, specifically: getting the right consistancy; how to avoid the paint warping the card; how to avoid brush strokes; what type of brushes work best for what; how to use washes

- The 'no-maths roof technique' as demonstrated by Michael from Chandwell on Youtube. This works best in CAD but can also be applied to hand drawing. His 'sticky label window technique' too.

- How to allow for the thickness of the card in design
- How to scribe tiles and bricks
- Weathering
- How to design and build moving parts
- Compound curve techniques, both the well-known 'petal' and also the 'layer and sand'
- How to determine the shape of compound and simple curves from 3-views

- How to use glues, fillers and other liquids to harden card
- Discussion of the merits of various types of printers
