Patience Grasshopper.
Actually the grinding machine is being tuned up right now, so it'll be a few days before it's even possible to try anything.

An attempt is being made even now. The machinist-type-guy is very concerned about the extra long taper chattering and destroying the ($$$)wheel. I'll let you know as soon as I find out
