Thanks! I have used several PDF converters, and I like this one the best. Easy to use and understand. Thanks for the extended tutorial use.... I tend to forget about these aspects of it's capabilities....

GsView with Ghostscript are a free software package capable of extracting images from pdf files in a variety of formats including vector.

Ghostscript is in fact the underlying engine behind most if not all of the free printer emulators (and probably most commercial ones) so it is little wonder that the executable for PDFcreator is titled "PDFCreator 0.9.3.GPLGhostscript.exe"
What is surprising to me is that some emulators perform better than others. I think it highlights the fact that you cannot make comfortable assumptions about any software you are using. It may claim to do this or that but does it do it effectively and accurately and better than everything else. You'll only know if you go at it with an open mind and check and compare. PS Thanks for nudging me to update after 3 years. |
