I vote for the 89 Batmobile or the Hippo Bus or the Tumbler.
From the point of view of build components (learning basic build skills).
Just my two cents.
But I'll go with whatever the concensus is.
I'm happy.

Dave, you raise an interesting point, namely that this thread is about learning various basic build skills, and that the three models you suggest are a good next stage progression in terms of building basic skills.

Well, in this respect you are in the best position to know, so given this I would like to propose that we leave our suggestions for the moment and rather vote for the three you suggest. Maybe when this is done, we could then do a "builders choice" build?

For the advanced build again maybe Dave could then suggest three more for a vote again?

So unless someone who has just voted objects, let me start.

My order of preference for the next build would be 1. 89 Batmobile, 2. Tumbler and 3. Hippo.

But feel free anyone to say if you would rather revert to the original voting. This is a paper democracy!!!!

1) Tumbler
2) '89 Batmobile
3) Hippo Bus

If I was picking three models specifically for skills learned
I would have probably picked three entirely different models! LOL

I apologize if I am leading the suggestions
or trying to sway the decision in any way.
That was NOT my intention.

LOL This is too funny.
I just picked those because they had been suggested (more than once)
and out of the none nominees suggested so far, those three were my preference.

BUT...as I said, whatever you guys would enjoy building, lets go with that.
Originally I had suggested picking a model that you already had issues with.
ie failed build attempt or lack of confidence.
Building a model for learning purposes is also a good consideration.

My vote is still the Tumbler. There are certain aspects of the construction that have me baffled and I would like to build this for a friend. If not the Tumbler than the '89 Batmobile would be my second choice.

Ah well Dave, we may as well stick with your three options now, especially since you are doing the build thread - the latter may as well be of something that is also one of your preferences!

Dear Friends:
Having seen the butterfly boat and hippo bus is the 1:1 scale in Toronto Harbor I still vote for the bus, however will do which ever is picked as it is instructive exercise to do. Just give me a few days to get it printed as we are still without a printer. I am looking at the new Epson EcoBoost printer with the large ink tanks built in, have to save up to buy it. Also looking for the long self closing tweezers after the last class.
Thanks,
Miles

We're good with the Batmobile, but will happily work on whatever vehicle is decided up on.
