Problem with assembly instruction in polish

Google have a nice feature/tool
"more" and then "even more" and then you have a "translate"

very useful tool
here is the example from kit Liberator scale 1:50, step 11

Wiezyczke tylna sklejamy wg. rys. 15. Najpierw sklejamy szkielet, a nastepnie oszklenie wiezyczki. Lufy karabinow przyklejamy do e.101a (odpowiedni odstep miedzy gornymi i dolnymi lufami zapewniaja e.101b)

Glued by the rear turret. rys. 15. First, glued the frame, and then glass towers. Lufy glued to e.101a rifles (the space between the upper and lower barrels provide e.101b)

not bad, nor bad at all

few hints and crush course of polish language
rys. is the abbreviation for rysunek which means "drawing"
wg. is the abbreviation for wedlug which means "according to"
Lufy is plural for Lufa
(frequently you have to change last letter from y to a)
and what it means is a good test for you to find out

it is also important to write POLISH text with out any errors
and this is very very tricky

GOOD LUCK

Polish has some really weird accented letters. Perhaps scanning and using a good OCR software will help...Then it's just a matter of copy/paste inside the translation sites.

Never tried, just my suggestion :D

Regards

João

What I used to do is keep a text file with all the weird characters ready, and cut and paste those where needed.
Luckily Polish doesn't have tooooo many

I have try translators and come up with nothing be cause it has funny letters in Polish like the L with the cross bar. Of course it is more difficult if you have some thing like Cyrillic which superficially resembles the Greek Alphabet.

I use this site to type the Polish text:

Type Polish characters online

Then I copy and paste it to Google's language tool and translate. It's time consuming, but I kind of enjoy doing it.

Thanks for this great find. I have many Polish kits that need translation

Excellent link, Chaldane. This is going to save me hours of work whilst translating. Thanks very much for the share.

Well cut and paste it only work when I have some instruction in digital form. But when I have the print model it is useless. That was my meaning.

Hi, I'm new at this forum and it seems there's a place just here for me because I'm from Poland

Feel free to insert parts of the instructions that give you problems, and I'll be glad to help you understand what they say.

For example the first text
Quote:
Wiezyczke tylna sklejamy wg. rys. 15. Najpierw sklejamy szkielet, a nastepnie oszklenie wiezyczki. Lufy karabinow przyklejamy do e.101a (odpowiedni odstep miedzy gornymi i dolnymi lufami zapewniaja e.101b)
means:
Quote:
the rear turret is glued according to picture 15. First the skeleton is glued, then glass of the turret. Guns' barrels are glued to e.101a (optimal distance between upper and lower guns is provided by e.101b)
