Interesting if you can't get music wire rod with the smallest diameter of 3/10mm.
I also used with satisfaction bronze wire of 2/10mm in rolls for the cable bracing of the biplanes at 1/66.
I had explained the technique here for those interested.

Hi CRIQUET,

Found some really small dia spools in the beading section of the local walmart. Called memory wire, smallest spring steel wire I've seen: 0.025 [0.7mm]. Small enough to run through the $11 wire straightener.

Want the music wire instead of others, actually going to be used as the original rigging to support the landing gear on a rubber band powered model. Model is close to1/6 Scale.

Main gear will be some heavy duty music wire, since trying to do a scale model. Small Music wire will add lots of strength to landing gear as support rigging.

During weight and balance, if tail heavy will add the rigging as part of balance weight, if nose heavy, going to shed weight wherever I can.

Mike
