Rigging for 1/100 scale models - thanks, Bob Lutz

I was looking at the Fiddlers Green Boeing P-26. Modeler Bob Lutz wrote there that he discovered a way to make rigging wire from bamboo skewers. He explains how bamboo can be split into fine as hair "wire" that is reasonably stiff, is easily glued in place, and can be colored black with a felt marker. I thought this could be just the thing for 1/100 scale models. I had some bamboo skewers on hand, so set out to split me some "wire". With just a few minutes practice, I managed to produce lengths of very fine, if not quite "hair" fine, fibers. Thanks, Bob Lutz.
