Question translating instructions to English or?

I have many kits with instructions written in Russian or? I cannot find a translated copy of the instructions. I found my smartphone with Google Translate will use the camera function to do a good job. Google translate is free and works with almost any browser. You put the instructions on a table or your computer screen, select the camera icon, point the camera in the smartphone at the Russian text and the English version appears on the phone screen.
I also use it to converse with people who do not speak English. Google Translate is free. I have found it to be very good at giving the right translations and it has a "send to" feature, so you do not have to cut and paste. I hope this helps you.

Many thanks, Martyr366, for this much needed info. Translation can be difficult. Very often it is not so simple as just swapping words from one language to another. And then there is the matter of different alphabets. A tool such as Google Translate is invaluable.
