Is that Krylon an aerosol can or do you use and airbrush? I've read of hose who spray varnish their models after assembly but I've always wondered how you get it into all the nooks and crannies. I'm always afraid I'd do more harm than good. Any comments? |

yes an aerosol can, you can spray the sheets prior to building, and then give it another coat when you are done.
there are some who subscribe to the use of Future Floor Polish(yes you peter) who have outstanding results with that. Rick

Boogle CSI with no prints
SO you don't want any finger prints!!!...............
OK here is the fastest way I've found..................listen to Golden Bear............. I just tried a Duco like glue.............called Beacon Quick Grip............ got it when I was going to do the models in aluminum as it was suggested. The wife broke a picture frame so I opened it up and used it.............. and I thought since it is opened I would give it a try on Nobi's Firebrand..................WOW!!!!! I was afraid of trying this type of glue because I ALWAYS get smears and finger prints on my models using the PVA type glues............ I figured this type would be a nightmare to use. WRONG! This glue rubs off and leaves NO smears..............REALLY! Just rub lightly with your finger any stop of glue you don't want.....................BAM it's gone. So Thanks Carl................. sorry I did not listen to you sooner! Figures after I found a great deal on Aleene's I now don't want to use it!:o john Last edited by John Bowden; 09-23-2007 at 02:23 PM. |
