1. Did not score the fold lines
2. Did not do any edging 3. Used way to much glue 4. Printed A4 on USLetter and got snipped off 5. Did not regularly clear the internet cache to get rid of all of the freakin' BS that every freakin' website seems to freakin' think needs to be in residence on the hard drive of the computer being used at the time. More to come as my brain engages. Right now the friction clutch is engaged, the dental clutch will kick in eventually.

1. Score does not mean "cut part way through".
2. Cutting out parts in advance of needing them- and not numbering them. 3. Building out of sequence. 4. "Dry fitting" with transparent tape. 5. Not scoring at all. 6. Ignoring which way the tab is supposed to bend. 7. Speeding through the basis of the design in order to get to the "cool stuff". 8. Sloppy cutting. 9. Not dry fitting at all. 10. Leaving the model where my cats can get at it. Wyvern |

In no particular sequence:
10. Score on wrong side 9. Get ink on outside when colouring the edge with a pen 8. Print sheets the wrong size 7. Drop knife on concrete floor and break the blade tip 6. Have to reprint one page 47 time because of mistake in cutting one part on page 5. Think I do not have to test fit some thing... 4. Part it fit fine with the test fit. But when I put glue on it does not fit any more! 3. Glue part out of sequence so other parts do not fit. 2. Spray with varnish and the colours run or change. 1. Leave model where stupid person will crush it with a box. |

I've pretty much done every one of the items listed in the previous posts above at one time or another, with the possible exception of any item involving cats (wife's allergic). Most recently:
1. Installed a part on backwards due to lack of test fitting first. Since it was one of two similar assemblies, figured I could catch the mistake in the second build. Test fitted, looked good....test fitted again (just in case)....started to apply glue....the second assembly looked good, except for one small detail: I put the offending part on backwards AGAIN (hangs head in shame). Well, at least I have matched assemblies now..... Mike

1. Scoring straight lines without a ruler.
2. Using "White paste glue" (add whatever worst-ever glue you know in your country ). 3. Painting parts with crayons. 4. Cutting holes with scissors. 5+. Using too much glue and some other of the things already written.

1. Rushing
2. Using too much superglue 3. Dropping the scalpel when i've cut myself - said scalpel then ends up in my leg 4. Bleeding on models 5. Not bothering to translate instructions 6. Having too many models on the go at once 7. Buying paper models that I probably will never build The list is endless Tim |

1) cutting out all the parts in a fit of passion only to set them aside for weeks. Then coming back to find myself scratching my head over a pile of little parts that no longer have any relation to anything.
2) Eating pizza while handling white fuselage parts. 3) Trying to catch a falling hobby knife with my legs before it hit the floor... shoulda let that knife go man. ....ouch.... 4) Downloading every model I could get my hands on from the internet. Knowing that there is NO WAY I'll ever be able to build even a tiny fraction of them. 5) Placing a part that has just been coated in super glue onto another surface before it had a chance to dry first. Allowing it to become a permanent fixture of that surface instead of a strengthened part. 5) Absent-mindedly scratching my nose with a finger laced with super glue. ....ouch.... 6) Cutting bits of steel wire with a pair of wire clippers in a way that allowed the released pressure to drive the loose piece into the palm of my hand. ....ouch.... 7) Sneezing right after cutting out a whole mess of tiny parts. I never did find them all. 8) Failing to realize that a hobby knife isn't the only tool to use. The willingness to try anything from a thumbtack to a kitchen spatulae can lead to surprisingly happy results. 9) Forgetting to dry-fit the parts before attempting to glue them in place. 10) Failing to write down where I got the model and who was the designer.
