Hello...

I usually use sewing needles to apply the glue, instead to use (as once) the toothpicks

I put some glue (I use vinylic glue) from the bottle to a little plastic surface and then i pick with the tip of the needle the quantity of glue I need and I apply it to the part.

If I have to glue a large part, I use the pick the glue on the long part of the needle and then pass it on the surface I need to glue.
There are mainly two reason because I use needles instead of toothpic :

1) They're made of steel and, cleaning the tip of the needle with a X11 blade from the dry glue, it became again fully ready for a new application.

2) I have needles of different lengths : from 5 centimeters up to 20 centimeters...and I use the longer when I have to put little amounts of glue in parts of the model that are very difficult to reach by the lenght of a toothpick ...

hoping can be useful

Ciao
Jp

Hello!
I know you may laugh but I use micro-swabs that are used to apply adhesive for eyelash extensions. You can purchase 300-500 of them on Amazon for about $10 or at any beauty supply store.
I hope this helps!
