Animated Engines

This fellow has several animated Gifs of diferent types of engines in motion. They are simplified drawings that demonstrate how the main parts work and why. I love watching his Gif of a rotory engine in action. And the wankel engine is simply wierd. I figured this would be a great resource page for those of us who want to understand a little more about what we are trying to model.

He also has some neat info on carving your own model airplane propellers.

That is a great site. The aircraft rotaries have always befuddled me. Maybe now I can sit down and figure them out.
