Oh that looks nice Lep. Can that be used with an inkjet printer?

Lep
I think you have to PM a mod with the post number or click the red triangle thingy up on top right of the post to delete so you can report it.

Yes, I use an inkjet for my printing. I use the paper when I want a gloss finish. As I work small, a glassy shine is not to scale, this has enough gloss that it looks like a waxed, polished surface like the old birds.

I'm still on the cockpit, so no shiny panels are in place yet. I'll post some pics as soon as some fuselage panels are in place.

I havent seen glossy cardstock before! I am looking forward to see how you make out with it.

I have tried to use glossy photopaper- it was a disaster that ended up in the circular file. I have however found that glossy Brochure works just fine. Rolls nicely, takes glue well, and I had no problems with scoring. Here are a couple I did using it.

Wow, that glossy brochure paper does look nice. I'm going to have to remember to get some tomorrow or sometime this weekend.

I took my GPM 1/33 B-52 to Kinko's. This was before it was reprinted and I thought I had a rare kit in my hands.

At any rate, I ran the kit pages through their copier can came out with beautiful semigloss sheets. There were 23 color sheets and few black and white drawings that cost about $28 or $30 to reproduce.

Moral of the story: given the quality of the reproduction and the cost of the ink, I think we might come out at least even if we take our models to Kinko's and have them print them on gloss, semi-gloss, or matte card stock.

The inks they used are really quite impervious to any glue. Amazing.
