Really like the indoor filter setup. Maybe that will let me do some painting without having the condo assoc. down on me.

Nice addition Armorman, that might be a fun little project to try out this winter when the garage is too cold for proper spraying of the clear sealers. Thanks for sharing!

It is a neat idea. I think that unless you absolutely have to, you'd rather vent the booth out a window. I saw two of these rigs in use at the annual Wonderfest show in Louisville, KY, this year. Two booths of that design were used in a four hour event called "Iron Modeler", in which several teams tried to finish making something creative and original out of a base kit plus scratchbuilding materials and spare model parts. They all shared two of these booths in a hotel ballroom, and by the end of the evening the air was rank with paint solvent. I'm sure the activated charcoal filters really helped, but there was only so much they could do.

Lexus, would worry about the bathroom fans especially if you use any type of solvent based paint. On the model car board I go to (mainly plastic) a post was done recently showing the results of using this type fan with painting lacquer. One exploded the fumes and the guy suffered severe facial burns and eye damage.

Thank you for the warning!

My previous version of spray booth was from cardboard and I never had any problem, because I'm generaly using acrilic paints and lacquer.
