Thanks for the info Rutek63! The models that I'm used to building are just a hair different than the kits that you're building, but your awesome skills and tips will still apply. Based on your steps I should be able to remove the extra common faces and get the nice clean seams like you're doing.

Good idea. My Dad did some marquetry and I have his veneer roller. I bet that would work.

Did anyone happen to archive the diagrams for this thread? If I try to bring up the pictures for this thread it tells me that the domain has expired on 10/6/1914. To me this is a loss to all of us. It sounds like this would be helpful for some of the small work I am interested in. Thanks for any help.
