A simple 1:48 scale model of the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) and the Centaur upper stage associated with it. The LCROSS and Centaur will impact the moon, with the LCROSS observing the debris kicked up by the Centaur impact, then impacting itself. The Lunar Recon Orbiter (LRO) will observe both impacts - as will telescopes on the Earth - then continue its mission observing the moon. You can build a complete stack by combining this model with NASA's LRO model available at http://lro.gsfc.nasa.gov/education.html or http://lroc.sese.asu.edu/news/index....vailable!.html . Simply reduce to print the NASA model at 1:48 scale as well.
