A dangerous Japanese TV Game Show Challenge. The contestant risked being eaten alive by a real dragon. The terror on her face looks real.

Japanese TV game shows defy explanation and logic. Of course that applies to all "reality" TV really. If it's any consolation at all, the dragon seems to be going for the bait tethered to the "contestant". If the girl simply stays put, she could wait for the lizard to have it's treat and then walk away.

I remember seeing part of a Japanese game show once where the contestants try to stay awake for 24 hours or so. They try to stop dropping off by singing little songs and take part in clapping games. Every few hours the hosts would change shifts. I hope the girl running from the kimodo dragon wins something for her efforts/survival!

My favorite clip (from the 90s I think) showed contestants voluntarily grabbing a metal rod in each hand through which a slowly increasing electrical charge was applied.
Thats just quality entertainment.
