Wink

I re watched the video again.

I came to the conclusion that the purpose of it all is to get a rise out of people to generate hits translated to $$$ on YouTube.

Maybe I should get into that business as well

May I suggest turning a Lamborghini car into a school bus?

Actually I might try my hand at an old dog conversion of Bruno's 1/300 buff. Would do the original from the first book that still retained the 8 engine layout so really all I need to do is give it a pointed nose, a v tail and black paint. I'm a big Dale Brown fan.

Sounds great, looking forwards to it from one Dale Brown fan to another.

Huh.

I remember the supersonic nose, but forgot about the V-tail.

Might have to dig this out and give it another read...

When the last starship Enterprise is retired in 2582, it will be escorted to the orbital boneyard by the latest version of a B-52.

It's a ridiculous concept, but one way to make it slightly less ridiculous is a post-apocalyptic setting where B-52 airframes are the only available types after a world war, and are used by ad hoc carriers who make them fly with whatever parts are available and carry a mixture of passengers and cargo. The jet engines might be replaced by piston or electric or some yet to be invented technology.
