I'm enjoying your Shell collection. I know the original sheets were die stamped tab and slot models. Your finished models look very tight. Are your building them tab and slot, or are you using glue?

RPS ... Are you talking about the 'Shell' series, that Pat is showing?
The copies I have show no sign of slots, and look very much designed to be glued tabs. Johnny. |

I glue all tabs.
Originaly, it is a mixt build : some tabs are glued, and few of them are only in a slot (if I refer to text). |

Spent a lot of time on Il favoloso mondo di carta di Totò last night. I can understand the appeal of these older models. There's an awful lot of stuff there.

Pat, it's been over a week. How is your project going? I've been trying to search for more of these models, to fill the gaps, but I have not found anything that isn't already in your list.

I have too many things too do... ppfff...
But I will continue those builds. Last week-end, in a garage sale (? not sure of this word. I wanted to say "vide-grenier" or "brocante" in french...) I found two models built that I have not : the 9 and the 10. Unfortunatly, they were too expensive and a bit damaged (20 € each ). |
