Exellent build instructions on that one, but he doesn't give a reference to WHERE on the internet the download is available.

I quite fancy a go. Anyone here know it ?

Wow. I have seen photos of a paper model of the city of Budapest from the 1600's, but it was a one off, not a kit, and it is nowhere near as old as anything from Egypt...

Cheers Oliver, I got that D/L OK. Some other very interesting old maps there too. Although they were aware of America's presence, they had no idea of just how big the place is, eh?

For the oldest paper model - China?

I think I read somewhere paper was fist invented in China - true paper as opposed to papyrus etc.

I think that would be Stephanie Rahn.
Shes 62 yrs old.

There have been other Models in print, but I'm thinking of those "Models"
who have no other claim to fame and have appeared in "NewsPaper" for
no other reason than to be "Paper Models".

So, she's the oldest paper model that I know.
