yeah, I've been through a book on Lionel vintage and history
and they have produced a number of Train sets and individual cars
with "extras"...like missiles, rockets, tanks, helicopters, tractors...

but they are always molded plastic toys.
Nothing ever in cardboard.

ta-da

Vehicles came in sets of four...I'd say three Tanks and a Half-Track.
(Although one kit shows a Jeep...maybe there are two different sets?)

Models are arranged on square sheets with punch out parts.
Four sheets of models came in a square box.
Made of "Built Board".

Still don't have a company name, but these are post WW2 for sure.
The same company also produced Airplane models.

Thanks for all the help everybody. Airdave those pics you posted are exactly what they were. By chance if you figure out who the manufacturer of these toys was please leave a post. Again, thanks for all the help, very appreciated. RWTradingPost.
