Interesting that the "Armed Merchantman" is the model shown at the top of the page.
I built the "Armed Merchantman" from the book. The support box under the deck is wider than the hull. I had to cut parts of it away in order to fit it into the hull. The deck is 4mm shorter than the hull. |

I like seeing these vintage models, and one of these days I'm going to have to try a Rigby (probably one of the sports cars I got through Fiddlers Green when they were made available to magic key subscribers a while back). I shall heed the warning that fit, um, may not be up to modern standards, though! That Armed Merchantman builds up to quite a handsome model!
