Saturday, July 20th the blog will close permanently. You therefore have time until then to download everything you need. A hug to all those who have followed up to now.
Really hate to see that one go ...

I hate to see it go also. I tried to donate, but I don't use paypal and it wouldn't take my credit card.

I'll be sorry to see this go too. It was an interesting place to explore. Especially the old magazine and comic cuts.

I didn't D/L much from there, but there were a few little gems added to my archives.

There's a few quite rare micromodels tucked in there that are quite expensive to buy on eBay now, if you can find them at all. Get in quick if you want them for free.

Bye Toto my friend. You'll be missed.

Johnny.

why does it have to go?
where is it going?
not sure I understand.

okay, so it doesn't get updated anymore...
toto doesn't have the time for it anymore.
toto retires from his blog.

but its a blogger site.
its free and it can sit there forever, unattended.
or at least until blogger sites disappear.
?

does he plan on deleting everything?

I have offered to maintain the site for Toto. If he's ok with that, I'll let you know. It's an incredibly valuable resource for anyone interested in the history and variety of paper models.

Blog has been removed

Sorry, the blog at ilfavolosomondodicartaditoto.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs.
Dangit! There is some limited availability through Wayback Machine, however.

I had planned on doing an in-depth review of the site today, but too late

Yes, he and Agence Eureka were my favorite haunts. I was sorry to see him leave as well. Fortunately I think I downloaded just about everything that he posted, now finding the time to build is the problem.

Yes, at some point I would like to start building the Epinal models. I'm sure that many of them will have issues, but they have a lot of character

All the old models have challenges, it's true. But I agree with Vermin_King, they more than make up for it with character. Obviously my offer to Toto was too late. I'll miss "the fabulous world."

Pity. Was a good site.

Like to know why it was dropped!
