Kinda small... So who does have the biggest lighthouse wave in their neighborhood? Actually it is a smaller 'scale' lighthouse But every year several people are washed away here. But several swimmers (i.e. 3) being eaten by even bigger sharks! //www.consulfrance-lecap.org/IMG/jpg/Huge_Wave_-_Kalk_Bay-2.jpg Last edited by ContourCraig; 08-28-2013 at 01:47 AM. Reason: link |

Printed the model on A4 and had a go. Ignored the slit-and-tab system. No great fit, but one doesn't expect that in these very simple models, which were meant as toys anyway.
Have known about the trick to stiffen sowing thread for rigging, but never tried it before. See picture: find a way to stretch a length of thread with very slight tension, provided here by the card base. Then coat it with white glue. Let dry for a long time, untill hard and stiff. I should have been more careful applying the glue to prevent droplets forming... |

Diderick - a nice little model. You did a good job.
Very attractive - the cut-outs on the model for sea are a good idea that brings it ti life!
