Hello, IFJ researchers. I have a few items that may help. The first is a list from Mehlkov's catalog of all the full page Nationeres Gades, numbers 1 through 33.
The second is as many as I could find of the matchbox sized NGs (only eight). I have about 10 originals of the full pages, but I need to check. I would be happy to provide scans if you would like them. |

I don't think anyone would turn that down. Granted, English is my first and almost only language, but the names in the list don't strike me as patterns that I have. A few are recognizable, but I can tell I need to go through what I have and compare to your lists.
You don't have Shakespeare's birthplace, do you? It's hard for me to pass up any Shakespeare models. I seem to remember seeing Jeane d'Arc's birthplace, but I will have to double check. Thank you for the lists

I just uploaded the Shakespeare birthplace to the downloads section, VK. I don't have the Jeanne d'Arc birthplace (#30), but I do have some versions from other publishers... Epinal, Coeurs Valliants, as well as the Journal des Petites Filles. It's a very popular subject in France!
There is also an unusual version from an unknown French publisher of her entire life done in black and red in a kind of art deco style. Here's a sample showing the models and the sheets to build her birthplace. Let me know if you'd like scans of any of those. |

Wow! That is very interesting. I have quite a few Jeanne d'Arc models, but the only one I have built is the Zio figure.
I thank you very much for the Shakespeare birthplace. And it is in very good condition.

I am finally getting back to this thread. Thanks for posting the lists, Tom. I would like to get the 10 scans you have. I have already downloaded the Shakespeare's birthplace you posted to the downloads section. I still haven't found models VII and VIII from the matchbox sized series. I may break down and pay money to get them from AGK.

Hi All,
I have translated the Mehlkov full page Nationeres Gades list into English as best I could. Many of the titles on the Mehlkov list were shortened from what is printed on the model sheets. If I was able to locate the long title for a model, I used it instead of Mehlkov's short version. My notes are in brackets. These are an odd assortment of models!

How have you been doing on your search? I have 13 models that I thought were in the series that are confirmed. Several more that I thought were in the series, but evidently are not

Rockefeller's Birthplace Of the ones you have that I'd like scans of are: NG VII. Danish Windmill NG XXVI. Danish Poet's Birthplace The others I have from Esben's Flickr albums.
