Mechanical designer/drafter for 32 years, partner in a Consulting Engineering firm for 5 years, but it may be time for a change. Business is really bad.

Started life as a Cartographer with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) but found computers more fun. Was a programer for a while, then a systems manager and finally a Senior Computer Systems Engineer when I retired. Now I play a lot of tennis and try to keep my wife happy, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean .

The simplest explanation is the best but remember that simplicity is not proof of truth - Occam's Razor

ATH, VDQ?

I'm in navy service. Married, daughter, wirehaired dachshund.
Except mentioned above, papermodeling&design, I mark some people with painballs.

Washed out of the Coast Guard,
landed in a barnyard,
fought forest fires,
pulled electrical wires,
got lots of jolts,
then made nuts and bolts,
delivered in cars,
hit lots of bars,
waited on tables,
told lots of fables,
dug in a ditch,
then married a bitch,
had no remorse,
getting a divorce,
my new wife is cool,
met her at school,
almost done raving,
made wood engravings,
had many joys,
making paper toys.

I'm primarily a computer programmer but I've also written a book, done photography and writing for a space program related magazine and spent time in the USAF working on Minuteman III ICBMs.
