Are you waiting for the scale cube?

Every forum has a scale cube!

So I designed one with the GIMP (Powerful image editor, and it is a Free Software).

I used the color of the forum toolbar. It just looks fine (a little like the one of CardModels.net, though)

I provided the PDF and TIF files (as attachment).

Please print it with A4 size paper and don't scale it down, because the original size is already 5cm.

Have fun!

A little introduction.

I am an electrical engineer in Taiwan.

I am very interested in paper models,
and still learning how to build models fast and well.

Thanks for your experience sharing, and I am sure to learn a lot here.

I'm glad that you like it.

Excuse me, but I don't what does it mean by "american size"?

Is it in inches rather than in centimeters?

If you could specify the details (the side-length of each square,
how many squares in a face, etc.), I'm glad to make one for you.

I made another version of it with scale.
Maybe it's helpful for someone.

(I can't fit it into the 200KB limit, so I attached them separately)

we dont have a4 - we have 8.5 x 11 inch paper. If we print without shrinking it wont fit. Maybe it will work if we print full size - sometimes it doesnt cut off - havent tried it yet with this cube.

Thumbs up

I printed the pdf on 8.5 x 11 paper, full scale (not shrunk to fit page), centered, and it came out just fine. 5cm printed at 5cm.
It is put together and ready to roll.:D

Welcome Chien Cheng Wei.

Thank you for your cube.
Please don't worry, the files you posted the first time can be printed without difficulty at the correct size on American letter sized paper.

Cheers
Maurice
