Been a member but forgot to introduce myself!

Hi all,
Good to be a member of this group!

I've been a member for a while, but just forgot to introduce myself!

A lot of you may know me from Zealots and some of the Google paper model related groups.

I've been designing models most of my life, but have only used the computer for this since 2003. I use AutoCAD and CorelDraw to design the models. I don't have any real 3D skills however but am constantly amazed at the quality work by designers that use this medium. I just use traditional drafting methods with the computer and in essence, create the pattern pieces using sheet metal development.

Currently, I have many projects in work, the active ones are: Jupiter II with detailed interior of the upper deck, and the Hako Enterprise Bridge. I have have many other projects with some time already spent on them: Robot B-9 from Lost in Space and the Babylon 5 Starfury among others.

Planned future models include the Chariot from Lost in Space, the Proteus from Fantastic Voyage, various interior sets from the original Star Trek TV series, plus a few surprises kicked in.

You can download my models at:

Man was that QUICK!

Hello Garbad,
That was one super fast build! And it looks good too! The last one I made took me at least a week and a half.

Thanks for sharing!

Best Regards,

I had a few days off

(and I'm not a very patient modeler either :o)

Thanks for the model, one of the best freebies I've seen.

Hey Ron. I love the models that you put up on Lower Hudson Valley.

Did you ever finish the Hako bridge set... It's one of those that I have on my list of to do stuff after I finish my current Star Trek projects.
