Hello

Hello,

My id is davee52uk.

I have been making models most of my life from Airfix kits bought in the 50's and 60's onwards.

I have built several scratch built projects as well as lots of children's toys.

At the moment I'm designing and constructing canal narrowboats and small locomotives.

I hope to, when I retire produce a large model narrow boat that will float and carry electric power similar to a balsa one I made years ago.

For designing I use Sketchup and Paint but would welcome suggestions and help in this area.

Thanks for the link. I was thinking of creating OO scale boats and lock to sell at railway enthusiast's gathering but somebody has obviously beaten me to it !

Printed out a first try of a diesel shunter based on ones I used to see when I worked in a steelworks. Pictures later when constructed
