Hello from New Member

I am a railway modeller and usually use paper modelling for mock-ups and backgrounds. However lately I have been making some buildings from paper/card. I look forward to seeing what other people are doing and hopefully sharing my ideas?

Welcome. Back before I went to college, I had a number of card buildings on my model railway. Looking forward to seeing some of your builds. What scale do you work with?

Welcome to the forum, Mike

I've built a few Metcalfe models in the past. They seem to build up really well.

Looking forward to seeing more posts from you.

Tim

Card Buildings

At the moment I am building a small french Oe 1-43.5 narrow gauge layout. The backscene and low relief detail is in paper/card. The building mock-ups are in card. Not sure yet if the Final buildings will be card or plasticard.

I think it all depends on your preference. Tommygun from the forum here does a lot of plasticard for his wargaming. There's a certain sturdiness factor. I don't paint well, so I usually go for textured card.
