Ben from HMV

Hi guys,

I've been following this forum for quite some time and finally managed to register. Somehow there was always going on so much...

My first papermodel was Burg Eltz from Schreiber together with my father and I was six. Since that day I'm on board. For more than twenty years I work in the papermodel business now and I'm still not bored - not even a bit.

18 years of making HMV models probably makes you think that I'm absolutely into ships. Well yes, I am. But not only. Architecture was the first I did and that's something I still love and collect. And over the years I did trains, planes, spaceships and whatever is somehow printed on paper and has tabs (or not).

Today my wife Ulrike and I do nothing but papermodels - publishing HMV models and the lasersets on the one hand, on the other hand our retail shop where we offer about 2.000 different papermodels.

And now I'm really looking forward to being a part of your community if you'll have me.

Ben

A very warm welcome Benjamin, Because you are not allowed to put links in your first 10 posts( to keep the forum free of spam) I'll show a link to your business;

Thanks - a warm welcome indeed!

thanks, Billy, for the link. I already realized that because I wanted to post the links to our websites in my first post - and obviously that didn't work.
That's of course the most important website and where our heart truely lies.
I wanted to post two more links - one for our retail shop. The url is pretty similar to this forum - without the "ers" - the shop is not yet in English but we're working on it.
And then of course the HMV Facebook page which we do in German and English.

At the moment we're preparing the Peter Brandt Memorial Contest. I'll post the details here soon. It's gonna be one of several things we're going to do to in memory of Piet.

Ben

Welcome. A few more posts and you will be able to put your links in your signature. Which reminds me that I need to do that, too.

Welcome to the forum Benjamin. I'm a great fan of HMV models and have been practising my building skills with 1/250 models lately. ;-) More of that later. The German forum is great too and I've been lurking around frequently.
