American in Germany

Hi my name is Kelley and I am currently living with my wife in Germany. I dabble in all kinds of models, but I are really into Z scale. 1/220. We have to scratch build a lot of stuff and paper models is one of out tools. Thanks for letting me in the forum.

Welcome. Other than the Munster House, what other paper models are you interested in?

Ill have to look around. Buildings are always nice but if something catches my eye I might want to build it. I do like airplanes! I am looking for someone who could cut things with a laser. Using wood , laserbord, even metal and plastic. A lot of the paper models could be made even more realistic. Textures like brinks and shingles could be cut.

The extra detailing really makes these pop. A bit big, but you can see that type of detail at Clever Models Paper Models for the 21st Century - Home. TommyGun who hasn't been around in a while is a wargamer who used to translate paper models into plasticard.

There are so many great tools out there that one can use. I know that there are some model builders that use those CNC type cutters on plastic. One guy has a business making model ships that way.
I wish I had the skills, the software, the know how, the money and the machines to make all the tings I want to make.
