Welcome. I would say the largest segment of our builders do aircraft, so you have come to the right place. Have you located models you would like to start on?

Welcome to the forum

I started off by building some free models from these sites:

Paper Craft - Canon CREATIVE PARK

and

Welcome to the site.

Lots of aircraft models being built by members here. Some do basic cockpit canopies with solid colored glass, some use either commercially obtained clear canopies or make them for themselves and do detailed cockpit interiors.

Thanks for the replies,

Verman-King - the two aircraft that got my attention on here first was an F-4 and an A-10 (USAF had these at a local base near me when i was a boy) but not sure where to get the plans.

Tim Crowe - thanks for the links, now going to check them out

SCEtoAUX - some of the cockpits i've seen look great, but its good to know there are option out there, the clear plastic does give a great finish.

Herky - yes i know the school you mean, i did some maintenance in the grounds there a few years back,

once again thanks all

On A-10's, AirDave has two caricature A-10s at Paper Model Shop Aviation Paper Models - Assorted Aircrfat and Related Models

My one attempt at the A-10 is from Eastern: Paper Craft

I did it early in my pursuit of this hobby, so it isn't very good. Glad it was free.

I would suggest doing an internet search for A-10 paper models and F4 paper models
