Hello from Bangkok..

My name is John and I am looking for some downloadable models to teach my 7 year old about modelling. He likes robots and war machinery...
Any suggestions?

Welcome, John. Take a look at Mauther's blog, Papermau. On the right he has links to various types of models. I think looking at Kids, Robots, and Military will find you enough to do until he is in college.

Welcome to the site. Check out the Downloads and Links tabs at the upper right as suggested. There are lots of models and websites with models.

Howdy John, just as a suggestion for someone who is just starting out you might want to try a the Yamaha site. I showed this to a good friend of mine who is just starting also. It's a great way to learn and they have some good modeling to start working on. Just a idea. Not sure how long your son has been working of modeling. It might have some good tips for him. I buddy really went for this site. wc

And don't forget Our Original Free Paper Models from www.ss42.com

Lots of good things for beginners. At the bottom of his page, click on the 'more paper models' link to get to a really great directory of downloadable stuff.

Welcome! Toys and automata in our downloads has some things you both might like. Take a look at the stomp rockets for simple and highly kinetic items.
