Welcome aboard! Looks like some good leads for you to find models to start with; browse our links section for many, many more.
The only advice I'd give is to save the tiny scale models for your later projects - it might take a while to shrink down your fingers to that size ...

Retired for now, your right about the tiny models. Need to crawl before I walk. Kacrut thank alot. May be I should read the trend about posting while im at it.
