G'day!
I'm a long ago HO modeler. In the late '60's Alberta winters and a big basement, brought about the Galt's Gulch & Rio Grande RR.Greatest fun was scratch building structures.
Then came a long gap raising 5 kids and involvement in sport. !988 to 1998 were taken up with educational work in SE Asia. Three years ago, I entered a rest home on the NSW South coast. 18 months ago a local club and the home management stimulated the beginning of an HO layout. Given the varied interests of the others involved, I was very happy to take on the role of property developer. Now it's time for urban renewal. Joined this forum to help stimulate my imagination. |

Hi there Uncle John! Welcome to the forum. Thanks for joining. Sounds like you've had a varied career. We have a number of structure builders here; sounds like you'll fit right in. Do you have pictures of your builds that you'd be willing to share? We love to see what our members are building. Hope you find the stimulation you're looking for here. We're glad you're here. Welcome aboard!
