I too found this site through Zealot, and I am pretty much at ease here. Everyone is great, and as I am still pretty new to card modeling, and computer illiterate, the help freely and enthusiastically offered has been great.

Also, I like the links posted here, commercial, or otherwise. These links to websites, sales, great freebees and places of information are a great resource. I can't imagine why any modeling web site would not allow such information to be made readaly available.

Any how, welcome!

There was a ban on posting links with in threads that lead ,could be considered to lead or might one day evolve into commercial or rival sites or forums.

Folks, on Zealot, I can no long even sign off with my personal website listed because I offer free models.

Now, I'm not talking about making a big announcement, I'm talking about howm in many thread posts, you come across a link to a reference site, a site, like ecardmodels, another (even foreign) paper model group to check out a build there.
The owners of the site (Crowdgather) only want those links posted as a web add - therefore paid for space.

They want all links to be posted in a special thread so they can "monitor" them - read that "redact".
