Thanks for accepting me to what seems to be a great group. Deen doing paper models for a few months now, done a couple of Japanese castles couple of Airships, now jumped in at the deep end with a JSC Yamato. Wish me luck.

Done some research and found that Yamato sailed once in convoy with Shimakaze in 1940, so have sent for JSC Shimakaze to do before attempting Yamato, will then put on a base together.

Sounds like a great diorama subject. I look forward to seeing it. Dioramas are also addictive. Just look at the number under the Diorama thread pocket.
