The next „Kraut“

Hallo from Viersen (Germany),
My Name is Markus, i‘m the lighthousekeeper, I’m 53 years old.
My profession is aircraftmechanic. During the dark time in the year, if the other of my family are watching TV, I’m busy with my cardbordmodels.
Anyway, My hands always need something to do.
By the way, there are also different other things I like to do, like Sport, Holiday, Family, house and gardening.
In former times I collected my first experience in costruction of models like other people too. Castle made from paper, glider made from balsa wood, and various models made from plastik like the ship of Jacques cousteau.
I like the little details of the models, the microcosmos.
As my children began with paper models , they needed my helping hands.
It didn’t take long time to start again with this hobby again. I think that this hobby includes a lot of advantages. It produces no noise, no stench, it does not need much Space (1:250), it is cheep, and so it is good for my family.
A computer makes it easy to find models in the web.
Everythink in my life is mechanic, but for this hobby , dinosaurs like me start working with computers. And there are always helping hands from my children and my family.
Meanwile I like to surfe in the Internet. I Arrangements a corner for this hobby in my house and enjoy to improve my equipment ,my knowledge , and my abilities.
Now I enjoy viewing the models I made. Thanks for this forum and my regards to you all, Markus, the lighthousekeeper.
