I am new here, from the Netherlands.

Hi all,

Recently I found out that this forum was linking to projects on my website. So I went to have a look here and immediately created an account to post!

As a child I put together a lot of paper building boards (KLM DC9 from Jan Berfelo and other Veritas models).

I am now working as a graphic designer and illustrator, and clients are increasingly asking for paper scale models for promotion. It's fun to do, so it seems like a nice career move

In the coming period I want to work on taking the models and the design of the printed sheets themselves (how do you call that in English? in Dutch it is "bouwplaat") to a higher level.

I'll upload a few paper models that I have recently made on commission.

Well, the literal translation for bouwplaat would be buildplate, but in English, everything from model sheet, parts sheet, template, parts page has been used, but the majority usage is model sheet.

Welkom

Welcome.

Those are really great models you made and I look forward to seeing more.

You are lucky to be able to make models on commission as well - I have only been able to do this a couple of times in my whole life!
