Hello! What a neat hobby!

Hi everyone!

I'm an english teacher living in Russia. Recently, in our 'summer camp' we were doing papercraft models with the kids and I realised that I absolutely LOVED it. I made far more than my students! haha!

I've always liked making sci-fi models, but since moving abroad have found it hard to find (and afford!) such models. So, this is a WONDERFUL solution.

So, I'm looking forward to getting into this hobby.

Welcome. There are a lot of Sci Fi models out there. I am sure you will find plenty to interest you. More than one person could possibly build in one lifetime.

Welcome to the hobby. It's a simple and inexpensive hobby, therapeutic in the process and rewarding in the end.
I can esily start within 2 minutes and shove it all back in the drawer in another 2. No paint (well, maybe some - you can get away without any by just using markers or pencils to colour cut edges), minimal plain glue.
Doubtless you'll find great free downloads here or buy kits on line.
