Welcome to the forum. Check out our freebies and then the links. I am sure that we have something that might interest you, your son or both. There are some very economical models to buy as well. If you have done some FG models, post some pics and show off what you got. Enjoy and see you around.

There are very few "professionals" here. We are hobbyists who have a good time. Some of us have been doing it longer than others but we share what we know to allow everyone to achieve the results that pleases them.

Welcome to the fold.

There are a few paper Modelers in the LA area that get together at the IPMS-OC meeting every month. We show our latest finished models and yes several of us do show Fiddlers Green models (often models that have not been released and are only in the Bata process), the new kits we have purchased, works in progress and enjoy the company of other Paper Modelers and yes we are very kid friendly. Welcome, and I'll second Jim's comments about the IPMS-OC. Belonged to it when I lived over there and have occasionally made a meeting since then when I'm over visiting: good bunch of people.
