Hello from Arizona

Recently retired and going back to things I enjoyed as a youth now that I have some spare time. My brother and I were quite the scale modelers back in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Even though I am older, I still play video games (sometimes too much). I like to play MS Flight Simulator and RPG games (Mass Effect and Skyrim).

Although I still enjoy plastic model kits, I have seen lots of paper craft that I would like to try. My first paper craft was making a "ghost" from the video game Destiny. Everyone loved it and I made some others for my gaming friends. I had found the printable template on Instructables website.

I also fold basic dollar bill origami and hope to try the more advanced stuff sometime.

One thing about paper craft is that it is a good way to practice patience, something that is sometimes very hard in a world where we want everything to materialize instantly.

I am an aviation enthusiast and am interested in trying some paper craft planes. I have several die cast metal and plastic toy and model planes. I have yet to add a paper model plane to my collection.
