Excited to be here from Texas!
A few days ago, I came across some incredible paper starfighter models and am still amazed, so I'm really excited to join this community, and I look forward to getting to play in y'all's sandbox. I can't wait to start building an Earth Defense Directorate Thunderfighter or a Colonial Viper, but I'm sure I'll eventually start wanting to build wargame buildings, cars, and sailing ships too. I'm not totally new to the concept of building with paper, having roughed out paper architectural models that way in undergrad, but I expect I'll still be looking for lots of advice and feedback. From what I've seen so far in this community though, it looks like a great place to find those things. And, since I've never participated in an online forum before, I'll no doubt need some guidance just participating.

Glad to see a fellow Texan! I'm from Sugar Land, a southwest suburb of Houston, so, you know, couple hundred miles away. But, I've got family near Mopac and 734, so I get out that way on occasion. You'll have to let me know if there's any paper model places or events near you I should try to get to.
