Smile Hi all!
Hi everyone, it's Brian from the other side of the pond. I'm a beginner 3d modeller and been using Pepakura for few years now. I also have 3d printers and a cutting machine and I'd like to learn more about paper modelling so I can combine all those tools and skills together.

as waynemac said, first you need to think what type of models you are interested in for starters. Then plunge into it...there are thousands of models for each category so you need to start from something.

Thank you all for the warm welcome, much appreciated!

I'm planning to focus on basic architectural models and spaceships. I find that starting with basic geometric constructions encouraging and easy to practice.

I've just downloaded Metasequoia since I read that on here it is quite seamless with Pepakura. Wish me luck
