Based on his picture, Mr. Inwald was a gentleman and a scholar.
The drafting equipment shows he was an artist who made his creations the old-fashioned way with mechanical drafting equipment.
I downloaded the Spitfire, it is an amazing work to admire, far above my ability to build, but it inspires dreams.

Really sad news. Like others, I would never have guessed his age to be 75...his posts and designs always seemed so youthful.

I have only built parts of his designs as demonstrations but I think this would be a good motivation to build one to acknowledge Andrew's passing...

If I remember correctly, he has done Spitfire, Il-14 and MiG-21F-13 as well.
