Hello World

My name is Phil.

I have been building paper models for a while now, mostly ships.

The majority of mine were scratch built.

The Baltimore Clipper is the Prince de Neufchatel from Chapelle plans.

The topsail schooner is the Hannah from Hahn plans.

I built the Orel Solferino.

My current build is the Revenge of 1577 out of card from Victory Models plans.

Thank you all!

I have been having fun with these models.

I have been coming over to this forum for a while to learn techniques.

The level of craftsmanship in many of the models here is amazing!

Nice to meet you! Your ships look pretty small but very neat and detailed! Could you tell us what gauge are they?

Ab,
It is good to see you here! Your tutorial on ship card modeling got me started! Thank you very much!

The Prince de Neufchatel and the Hannah are 1/72. The Solferino is 1/200.
